The
Harvard Secondary School Intensive English Language (SIEL) Program is open
to international students between the ages of 16 and 18 who have completed
grades 11 or 12. The program provides many opportunities for students to
improve their English and explore the world of information technology while
learning about American society, politics, and culture.
Harvard, America's oldest and most prestigious university, provides a challenging, rewarding, and exciting summer preview of college life. Students in the SIEL Program live in one of Harvard's regular term-time coeducational dormitories and are on the meal plan. They have access to the University's computing resources, libraries, museums, and athletic facilities. Each summer students in this selective program live and learn together as they satisfy their intellectual curiosities, earn college credit, and explore Harvard University.
